The University of Tennessee Alumni Association - Davidson County Chapter held its inaugural Honors Dinner on Tuesday night, February 17th at the Hilton Downtown Nashville. 

The purpose of the dinner was to honor outstanding juniors in the Metropolitan Davidson County area in both public and private high schools and to encourage those students to attend college within the University of Tennessee system in the state of Tennessee. 

The event featured keynote speaker David Freemen, majority owner of the Nashville Predators, and University of Tennessee Knoxville graduate.  WKRN news anchor Anne Holt, also a University of Tennessee - Knoxville graduate served as the emcee for the evening.
